Personal Life

Neil Martin Taylor was born on 26 January 1961 in England. He began playing guitar in his youth and performed in local bands before entering the professional music scene in the early 1980s. He joined the band Neon as a session musician, where he met Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal. Taylor continues to live and work in the UK, balancing studio work, live performance, and solo projects.

The Robbie Williams Band

Neil Taylor became a regular member of the Robbie Williams Live Band in 2003. He plays electric and acoustic guitar, contributes backing vocals, and features in live solos and studio recordings. His work spans Robbie's albums including Escapology, Intensive Care, Rudebox, and the Under the Radar series. Neil has appeared in concert footage, rehearsal clips, and promotional content, and remains a consistent contributor to Robbie's live sound.

Before joining Robbie Williams, Neil Taylor toured and recorded with Tears for Fears, contributing guitar tracks to albums such as Songs from the Big Chair and The Seeds of Love.
