Human

Human was released as the fourth single from Britpop in 2026, following Rocket, Pocket Rocket and Spies. The original single version is performed entirely in English and features Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy, marking their first recorded collaboration with Robbie Williams.

Musically, Human moves away from the heavier guitar emphasis of the earlier singles, favouring a measured, mid tempo arrangement. Jesse & Joy, composed of siblings Jesse Huerta and Joy Huerta, are known for their Latin pop repertoire and close harmony style. Their vocal contribution adds tonal contrast and breadth to Williams’ lead performance.

Lyrically, the song addresses themes of artificial intelligence and technological change, reflecting on what it means to remain human in an increasingly automated world. The contemplative tone is supported by a restrained production that foregrounds the vocal interplay at the heart of the collaboration.

An alternative release, titled Human (Fuimos Humanos), was also issued. This version incorporates Spanish language sections alongside the original English lyrics, drawing more explicitly on Jesse & Joy’s bilingual identity while retaining the structure and thematic focus of the original recording.
