Sexed Up

Sexed Up was released in November 2003 as the fourth and final single from Escapology. Written by Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers, the track had originally evolved from earlier demo material before being developed for the album.

Produced by Chambers, the recording features a piano led arrangement with electronic undertones and a steady mid tempo rhythm. Its restrained production supports a vocal performance that moves between controlled reflection and emotional intensity.

Lyrically, Sexed Up addresses themes of insecurity, relationship tension and self awareness. The direct phrasing and recurring refrain underscore the song’s introspective tone, aligning with the more personal strands of Escapology.
