The Atlantic HornsBen Edwards is a founding member of the Atlantic Horns, a brass section recognised for touring and recording work with major artists. The group includes trumpet player Mark Brown and trombonist Mike Kearsey. As a unit, the Atlantic Horns have supported Robbie Williams on multiple tours, operating as a dedicated horn section within the wider live band.
Beyond their work with Williams, the Atlantic Horns have collaborated with artists including Amy Winehouse, Paolo Nutini, Basement Jaxx, Mark Ronson, Groove Armada, Madness and John Newman. The group is known for tight brass arrangements and high-energy performance, and has been used across live shows, studio sessions and television appearances.
Other touring, recording and broadcast workOutside of Robbie Williams and the Atlantic Horns, Edwards has recorded and toured with a range of artists across pop, soul and electronic music. His credits include work with Don Henley, George Ezra, Olly Murs, Spiritualized and Natalie Williams’ Soul Family. He has also held a long-standing residency at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in Soho, linking his touring work with ongoing live performance in a dedicated jazz setting.
His studio work has included sessions at Abbey Road Studios, Air Studios and Strongrooms, contributing brass parts and arrangements to chart releases and live recordings. Edwards has appeared on major broadcast platforms including Later… with Jools Holland and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, reflecting the regular demand for his playing in high-profile televised contexts.
