About

Coco’s Christmas Lullaby (Reprise) closes the first disc of The Christmas Present, returning to the tender theme of the original song dedicated to Robbie Williams’s daughter. Written with Calvin Harris, Richard Scott and Danny Spencer, the reprise features a brief vocal message from Williams, framed by a delicate orchestral arrangement and children’s choir harmonies that mirror the opening version.

Serving as a reflective coda, the reprise blends warmth, humour and hope. Williams gently addresses his listeners: “Next year, more than any other year, I’ve got a feeling that if we keep strong and keep on keeping on, we’re all going to be okay.” Recorded in 2019, the line later took on unexpected poignancy during the global challenges of 2020, when fans revisited the album for comfort and optimism.

The lullaby fades with the same serene melody as before, bookending the “Christmas Past” disc with grace. It reflects Williams’s belief in resilience and connection, offering a closing sentiment reminiscent of a fireside farewell.

“It’s been another crazy year. Loving the message from my house to yours. Night, night everyone.”Robbie Williams

Soft, sincere and timeless, Coco’s Christmas Lullaby (Reprise) ends the collection’s first half with warmth and gratitude, leaving a promise of light for the festive seasons still to come.

Lyrics

It's been another crazy year folks, as always
And I like you, have been trying my best
And I'm trying to get it right
Sometimes, we're obviously gonna get it wrong
But next year, more than any other year
I've got a feeling, that if we keep strong, and keep on keeping on
We're all going to be ok
So from my house, to yours
From the family Williams
I wish you the best Christmas
And a very, very, Happy New Year
Night night everyone,
Night night
