B-Sides and Rarities is a compilation album by Robbie Williams, released on 6 December 2005. The collection brings together 18 tracks that had previously appeared as B sides, cover versions and non album recordings from singles issued during the first decade of his solo career.
The tracklist includes original compositions as well as interpretations of songs by other artists. Among them are his versions of Queen’s We Are the Champions and Adam and the Ants’ Antmusic, alongside lesser known recordings such as Bag Full of Silly, Appliance of Science and Family Coach. Many of these songs were originally available only on CD singles or limited formats.
Issued between major studio projects, B-Sides and Rarities consolidated material that had been scattered across multiple releases, making it more accessible to a wider audience. The compilation documents an alternative strand of Williams’ catalogue, highlighting experiments, one off recordings and fan favourites that sat outside his core album discography.
Though not positioned as a primary studio statement, the album serves as a record of the breadth of Williams’ output during his early solo years, capturing both stylistic range and the depth of material created alongside his commercially successful singles.
