About this Release

In and Out of Consciousness, The Greatest Hits 1990 to 2010 was released in October 2010 to mark 20 years since Robbie Williams first entered the charts with Take That. The compilation spans material from his solo career and includes tracks recorded during his time with the group.

The album features singles from across his catalogue, including Angels, Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ and Feel, alongside earlier Take That recordings such as Everything Changes. Two new songs, Shame, a duet with Gary Barlow, and Heart and I, were recorded for the release.

Musically, the collection reflects the breadth of Williams’ output between 1990 and 2010, charting his transition from boy band member to one of the UK’s most successful solo performers. The sequencing presents a chronological overview of two decades of chart success.
